“MY FIRST OUTFIT” PROJECT IN TAIWAN

"Your child's first experience of coordinating an outfit" Taiwan

We aim to foster children's ability to think for themselves and make choices, starting with the clothes they wear.

Through the everyday act of "getting dressed," children develop the ability to learn about, observe, choose, and express themselves through colors, materials, and sizes. Through the experience of actually choosing and sharing, children gain their first experience of "choosing for themselves." In the process, they realize that there is no right or wrong way to coordinate outfits, and that it is one way to discover their own individuality and express themselves freely.

Learn how to wear it

Learn how to wear it

Through simple demonstrations and discussions, children learn about color combinations, clothing materials, and how to choose sizes. Starting with the question, "What should I wear today?", they will understand the importance of choosing clothes according to the weather, activities, and their physical condition. Furthermore, they will experience how to fold and organize clothes, enabling them to apply what they have learned to their daily lives.

Based on the concepts they've learned, children will actually choose their own outfits. Through trying on clothes and comparing them, they will develop the ability to think about "what suits me right now" and translate their feelings into choices.

The activity concludes with the children presenting their ideas for coordinating their outfits. Through presentations and feedback in a relaxed atmosphere, they learn that there is no right or wrong answer when it comes to coordinating outfits, and that it is simply one way of expressing themselves.
