At GU stores
refugee employment

One thing that companies can do to help refugees who have fled their home countries to live stable lives in their new homes is to provide employment opportunities. GU has launched the RISE (Refugee Inclusion Supporting and Empowerment) Program, which employs refugees as staff in stores and other locations. We support the creation of a comfortable working environment by providing language training and in-store training. We also provide training to store managers and trainers who will be accepting refugees as staff. Having refugees work as part of GU's team also helps to instill the idea of diversity within the company.
