The Fast Retailing Group has set the following goals for the fiscal year ending August 2030:

• ​We reduced greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1 & 2) at our own facilities, including stores and major offices, by 90 % (compared to 2019).

  *This target was achieved ahead of schedule in the August 2025 fiscal year.
• ​We are switching 100 % of the electricity used in our stores and major offices worldwide to renewable energy.

• ユニクロ・ジーユー商品の原材料・素材・縫製に関わる排出量（スコープ3、カテゴリ1）を30％削減（2019年比）

  *In November 2025, the target was raised from the previous 20% reduction.

These targets have been recognized as "Science-Based Targets (SBT)," an international standard, and are considered to be at a level that contributes to achieving the Paris Agreement.

温室効果ガス排出量の多くは、商品の原材料生産や縫製工程といったサプライチェーンで発生します。
そのため、ジーユーはファーストリテイリンググループの一員として、生産パートナーと連携し、以下の実現に向けた取り組みを進めています。

• ​Reduced coal consumption by approximately 90 %
• ​Switching more than 70 % of energy use to renewable energy.
• Energy efficiency improved by more than 50 %
• ​We will increase the proportion of environmentally friendly materials, such as recycled materials, to approximately 50 %.

These initiatives will be continuously reviewed and improved in accordance with supply chain conditions and production plans, evolving into more effective forms.
