Sales staff donated used GU clothing to children in an orphanage, offering suggestions on how to coordinate outfits.

GU continues to donate clothing to orphanages, aiming to create a society where all children can live their lives positively and be true to themselves. The initiative began with the desire to help children living in these facilities experience the "fun of choosing clothes" and the "joy of wearing clothes" by delivering used GU clothing that had been carefully worn as uniforms by sales staff, as well as clothing donated to GU stores by customers.
This initiative is not just about delivering clothes, but is also being developed as an experiential event where people can freely enjoy fashion.

When donating, GU sales staff visit the facilities and provide individual coordination suggestions to each child. By choosing clothes that suit their tastes and creating their own style, the children experience the fun of fashion and the joy of self-expression. A fashion show is then held in which they wear the clothes they have chosen. The children walk down the runway, showing off their own style and spending time enjoying fashion with their friends. The venue is filled with smiles, and moments of confidence and pride are created through fashion.

Comments from the facility include, "It was heartwarming to see the children's happy smiles, different from usual, and their eyes shining as they looked absorbed in the clothes," and "Some of the children liked the clothes they chose so much that they wear them almost every day."
