We held a coordination experience event.

In July and August 2025, GU teamed up with the Shibuya Ward Children's Table, an initiative promoted by the Shibuya Ward Social Welfare Council, to donate clothing and hold a fashion coordination experience event for mainly junior and senior high school students participating in children's cafeterias in Shibuya Ward. This initiative not only provided clothing, but also aimed to help children experience the fun of fashion and the joy of self-expression through the experience of choosing and coordinating their own clothes.

On the day of the event, GU sales staff visited the venue and gave the children advice on coordinating outfits using second-hand GU clothing, helping each child find their favorite style.A mini fashion show was held in the clothes they had chosen, and the children were seen walking down the runway with smiles on their faces, confidently expressing their individuality.

Furthermore, through this event, it has become clear that children's cafeterias can play a role not just as a place to eat, but as a place where children can feel safe and secure. The interactions and smiles that have been generated through fashion are a step towards deepening ties in the community.
GU will continue to work with local partners to support the growth and smiles of children.
