My First Outfit

We provide opportunities for children to choose and decide on their own clothes and enjoy fashion.

MY FIRST OUTFIT is a hands-on event where children can choose their own clothes and think about how to coordinate them.

GU aims to provide children with the opportunity to develop self-confidence and independence by letting them make their own decisions. By choosing their favorite clothes and creating a style that is uniquely their own, GU aims to help them experience the fun of fashion and the joy of self-expression.

The event will be rolled out nationwide in the summer of 2025, with 424 stores nationwide. By the end of August, a total of more than 4,000 children had participated.

Participating children have commented that "it was fun to wear the clothes I chose myself," and positive experiences through fashion are spreading. Parents of the children have also commented, "It was good to see my child looking satisfied, having carefully chosen what they liked," and "I don't usually wear accessories, so I was surprised at how just putting them on changed my look. It was a new discovery for me."

GU will continue to support the development of children, who will lead the future.
