To coincide with International Day of the Girl, which falls on Saturday, October 11, 2025, we carried out two activities.
Activity 1
Between Saturday, October 11th and Friday, October 24th, 2025, GU donated a portion of the sales of selected accessories to the Japanese Organization for International Cooperation in Family Planning (JOICFP), a public interest incorporated foundation.
We also posted QR codes in GU stores and on our official website that allow people to donate directly to JOICFP. The donations from the sale of accessories totaled 930,012 yen. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their generous support.
This donation will be used to provide opportunities for young people, in particular, to learn about SRHR (sexual and reproductive health and rights), so that they can choose to live their lives in a healthy way, both physically and mentally, regardless of gender. Specifically, it will be used for activities to introduce comprehensive sexuality education into school education.

Activity 2
On Saturday, October 11, 2025, GU held a joint event with the public interest incorporated foundation, JOICFP. The event targeted teenage boys and girls interested in fashion, sex, and romance, and featured outfit suggestions from GU sales staff and an SRHR talk session by JOICFP.
The outfit coordination experience involved using second-hand GU clothing, with sales staff chatting with participants to suggest outfits that suited each individual, helping to broaden the scope of self-expression and encourage participants to discover a new side of themselves.
In addition, at Joysef's SRHR talk session, we shared tips on how to choose your own sexuality and life-related choices, just as you would choose your fashion.
